A TV anime adaptation of the isekai manga series Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four! has been announced to premiere in 2025.
A new teaser visual and first PV trailer for the adaptation were also released, with the latter revealing the anime’s main voice cast and production staff.

Michio Fukuda (Failure Frame, Terra Formars Revenge) will be directing the anime series, with Seung Deok Kim as assistant director, Hiroko Fukuda (Taisho Otome Fairy Tale, You Were Experienced, I Was Not: Our Dating Story) as series screenwriter, Ayumi Nishihata (Migi & Dali) as character designer, Ken Naito (ATRI: My Dear Moments) as art director, and Takafumi Wada (The Seven Deadly Sins, Seraph of the End) as music composer. GEEKTOYS and CompTown are handling the animation production for the adaptation.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast stars Yuki Ono as Dennosuke Uchimura, Konomi Kohara as Urmander, and Akio Otsuka as Dark King.
Headhunted to Another World is based on the manga series written by Benigashira and illustrated by Muramitsu. It was first serialized on Overlap’s Comic Gardo manga website on December 27, 2019 and has released eight tankobon volumes as of January 2024, with a ninth volume due out on July 25, 2024.
Seven Seas Entertainment releases the manga in English for North America, describing the synopsis as:
Uchimura Denosuke is your normal, everyday salaryman trying to climb the corporate ladder. But then he’s summoned to a terrifying fantasy world by the Demon Overlord, who offers him a new job—as one of the Heavenly Kings in his army, with full benefits! Uchimura may not have muscles or magic, but he does have an office worker’s skills and savvy. Will they be enough to keep him alive?
