A new character PV trailer has been released for the upcoming Trillion Game TV anime adaptation, highlighting the wealthy beauty Kirika Kokuryu. The series will premiere in Japan sometime in October 2024.
Additionally, two new cast members and characters were also added to the series, which are Takaya Hashi as Kazuma Kokuryu and Masaaki Mizunaka as Nagase.
They join the anime’s main voice cast that includes:
- • Takeo Ootsuka as Haru Tennoji
- • Shoya Ishige as Manabu “Gaku” Taira
- • M.A.O as Kirika Kokuryu
- • Hiroki Tochi as Kazuki Kedoin
- • Yuki Tanaka as Rinrin Takahashi
Yuzo Sato is directing the anime adaptation, with Ryunosuke Kingetsu as series screenwriter, Kei Tsuchiya as character designer, and Takuro Iga as music composer. Madhouse is handling the animation production.
The anime is based on the original manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami. It was first serialized in Shogakukan’s Big Comics Superior magazine on December 11, 2020 and has released nine tankobon volumes as of April 2024.
The manga also inspired a 10-episode live-action TV drama series that was released on Netflix. Another live-action film with the same cast and staff from the series will be released in 2025.
VIZ Media licensed the Trillion Game manga in English for North America, describing the synopsis as:
Haru and Gaku become the first Japanese people in the 21st century to enter the billionaire’s club! Gaku reflects on when he first met Haru, and their unorthodox path to success.
