The Shonen Magazine YouTube channel has uploaded an anime commercial for Muchimaro‘s There Is Also a Hole in the Student Organization! (Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru!) manga.
The PV features a fixed shot montage of the cast dancing and goofing around before ending with a bloody faceplant.
Ryo Imamura (Onimai character designer et al., Mushoku Tensei Season 1 co-prop designer et al.) is credited as the storyboard artist, unit director, character designer, and animation director of the There Is Also a Hole in the Student Organization! PV. He is also one of the key animators and second key animators.
Some of the other core staff include Naoyuki Tatsuwa (Nisekoi, Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World) as director, WIT STUDIO’s Arisa Komatsu (My Deer Friend Nokotan) as color designer and color coordination checker, Naoki Eto (KonoSuba Season 3) as compositing director, KUSANAGI’s Yuina Asai (Lycoris Recoil) as background artist, and Asari Oki (Onimai co-prop designer) as main animator (Oki also has key animator and second key animator credits). Passione is the animation production company.
There Is Also a Hole in the Student Organization! is a slice-of-life comedy about a slightly weird student council. The Kodansha-published 4-koma debuted in 2022 and has six tankoubon volumes as of March 2024.
Its seventh tankoubon volume will be released on July 17 JST.
Last year, There Is Also a Hole in the Student Organization! was named as the winner of the Next Manga Awards’ print manga category. In March of this year, the series’ total circulation numbers passed one million.
