A new Minami-ke TV anime has been announced. It will be a sequel.

Koharu Sakuraraba‘s slice-of-life comedy manga about the three Minami sisters previously inspired four anime seasons that aired between 2007 to 2013. Staff and production studio changes were common with the previous shows (the studio that produced the first season, Daume, is now defunct).

The Minami-ke manga has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine since 2004 and has 26 tankoubon volumes as of June 2024.
