Two new trailers have dropped for the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime: a fourth numbered trailer and a “special reveal” trailer for the third cour, which is titled Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict.
The anime also has a new key visual, the announcement of an October premiere window, and the reveal of SIX LOUNGE and suisoh as the opening and ending theme song artists, respectively. The opening’s title is “Kotoba ni Sezu to mo” while the ending is “Monochrome.”
Another new update is that the previous cours’ director Tomohisa Taguchi is now chief director (a more supervisory role) while previous co-chief episode director Hikaru Murata is the new series director.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War premiered in October 2022, while the second cour (Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Separation) debuted in July 2023. Hulu, Bilibili, iQIYI, and Prime Video are among the platforms that stream it. The show is the first Bleach TV anime since the 2004 to 2012 Bleach series and adapts the final arc of the supernatural action manga series by Tite Kubo.
In Thousand-Year Blood War, Souls Society finds itself threatened by the overwhelming might of the Quincy king Yhwach and his Wandenreich army. A trailer for Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict that was released last December previewed a new bout between series protagonist Ichigo and Yhwach, as well as some returning characters and Nel’s adult form.
The Bleach manga ran from 2001 to 2016 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and was collected into 74 tankoubon volumes. A special one-shot was released in 2021.
