A second main PV trailer has been released for the upcoming second season of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World. The second season will begin airing in Japan on July 10, 2024.
The trailer previews many of the series’ main characters, as well as the opening theme “Senaka Awase by AliA and the ending theme “Para Bellum” by Sizuk.
Two additional cast members were also revealed. Takehito Koyasu will be voicing Glory, while Ryotaro Okiayu will be voicing Talismen.
They join a main voice cast for season two that includes:

Yuki Inaba (KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World) is directing the anime, with the production company Studio Palette serving as series screenwriters, and Kaori Yoshikawa (KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World) as character designer and chief animation director. Elements Garden’s Ryota Tomaru, Seima Iwahashi, and Ryutaro Fujinaga are serving as music composers. SILVER LINK is handling the animation co-production with Studio Palette.
The anime is based on the fantasy romance light novel series, written by Kei Sazane and illustrated by Ao Nekonabe. It was first published by Kadokawa’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint on May 20, 2017 and has released 15 volumes as of June 2023, including three short story collections. A manga adaptation by Okama was launched in 2018 and ended in 2021. Yen Press releases both the light novel and manga adaptation in English for North America.
Crunchyroll is streaming the second season, as it did the first, and describes the synopsis as:
After Alice, Iska, and Sisbell defeat the Object, they return to the Nebulis palace. Iska becomes Sisbell’s guard through a secret pact, and they find themselves drawing closer with each passing day. Alice’s heart aches upon seeing her sister arm-in-arm with Iska. A dark conspiracy is at play, and the trio is caught in the crossfire. But can they uncover the truth in time to prevent total war?
