Studio Pierrot has announced that it is producing a new magical girl anime.
The anime studio calls this new project the latest in its “Pierrot Magical Girl Series,” which includes 1983-1984’s Magical Angel Creamy Mami, 1984-1985’s Persia, the Magic Fairy, 1985-1986’s Magical Emi, the Magic Star, 1986’s Pastel Yumi, the Magic Idol, and 1998’s Fancy Lala.
A pastel-colored image illustration and an announcement trailer were released. The illustration includes the words, “I want you to sing once more.”
