A special commemorative wedding visual has been released after the series finale of The Duke of Death and His Maid TV anime series. The final third season began airing in Japan on April 7, 2024 and concluded with its 12th episode on June 23, 2024.
The new visual highlights the wedding ceremony of the main characters Bocchan and Alice dressed in white, while grinning in excitement.
The first two seasons of the anime adaptation aired in 2021 and 2023 for 12 episodes each, respectively. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the series worldwide, outside of Japan.
Many staff members from the second season and first season worked on the third season again. Yoshinobu Yamakawa directed season three, with Hideki Shirane as series screenwriter, SMDE’s Mitsuru Kuwabata as character designer, SMDE’s Yuuya Hatano as character modeling director, and Gen Okuda and Takeshi Watanabe as music composers. J.C.Staff handled the animation production, with SMDE assisting as the CGI company.

The anime series is based on the romantic comedy manga by Koharu Inoue, which was serialized on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry website from October 3, 2017 to May 17, 2022. Sixteen total tankobon volumes were released.
Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing The Duke of Death And His Maid manga in English for North America. It describes the synopsis as:
When the duke was a young boy, a witch cast a powerful curse upon him, making it so that any living thing he touched would die. Now a young man, he lives in a sprawling mansion with only servants for his companions: an elderly butler, and his childhood friend, a busty blonde maid named Alice. Despite the curse, Alice is constantly flirting with him and seems to delight in making him blush! But how close can they truly grow as long as the curse is in place?
