The Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells anime adaptation has gotten its second trailer and a third key visual as it gets closer to its July 4 (effectively July 5 at 12:59 AM) JST premiere date.
There are also four new cast announcements: Junichi Suwabe as Civit Garland, Asuka Shioiri as Nyantan Kikeepat, Misaki Watada as Lizbeth, and Hitomi Ueda as Eve Speed.
Failure Frame is an adaptation of the OVERLAP Bunko isekai light novels written by Kaoru Shinozaki and illustrated by KWKM. The series began in 2018 and will release Volume 12 on July 25 JST. Seven Seas describes the books as:
Abruptly catapulted into a fantasy world, Mimori Touka and his classmates have been summoned by the world’s resident Goddess to serve as heroes. Luckily, most of the students display amazing skills upon arrival—except for Mimori, whose abilities bottom out at a measly E-rank. With no further use for him, the Goddess banishes Mimori to a dungeon from which no one has ever returned alive. Yet, as it turns out, Mimori’s skills aren’t so much worthless as they are abnormal. Abnormally powerful, even. If Mimori can only claw his way back to the surface, nothing will stand in his way from getting revenge.
Failure Frame has also inspired a manga adaptation, which began in 2019. The story was originally a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel that started publication in 2017.
