A new PV trailer has been released for the upcoming second season of Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ, which is scheduled to broadcast in Japan on July 6, 2024. The series’ first cour premiered in Japan from January 13, 2024 until April 20, 2024.
In addition, during the “Bushiroad TCG Senryaku Happyokai 2024 Natsu” livestream event, the second season’s main theme songs were revealed. Boy band Strawberry Prince will perform the opening theme “Shukumei” and MyGO!!!!! will perform the ending them “Hashihodo Yama.”
Some new voice cast members were also revealed, which include:
- • Nobunaga Shimazaki as Kuon Aikawa
- • Masaaki Mizunaka as Kyohma Kurosaki
- • Yuzuki Watase as Yuna Saionji
- • Izumi Kitta as Senka Kanae
- • Daiki Yamashita as Jinki Mukae
- • Rie Kugimiya as Sybilt
They join a main voice cast returning for season two that includes:
- • Toshiya Miyata as Akina Myodo
- • Jun Fukuyama as Gabwelius
- • Eri Yukimura as Hikari Myodo
- • Yuka Nishio as Nao Inabe
- • Reiji Kawashima as Suo Yobitsugi
- • Haruki Iwata as Mikoto Saito
- • Takumi Mano as Taizo Kiyokura
- • Shuuta Morishima as Masanori Iseki
- • Amane Shindo as Megumi Ookura
The production staff from the first season of Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ are returning to work on the second season. They include Taku Yamada (Dropkick on My Devil!!! X co-director, Koikimo assistant director) as director, Shun Menjo (Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress trilogy card fight composition) and Takahito Onishi (Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress Season 3 co-series composer) as series screenwriters, and Tomokatsu Nagasaku (Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress co-character designer) and Hiroyuki Saita (Revue Starlight) as character designers.
Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ Season 2 serves as the D series’ sixth entry, after two Cardfight!! Vanguard Overdress seasons and three Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress seasons. Nine D series seasons are planned to be in production, with the ninth season set to debut in July 2025.
Before the D series titles, there were several Cardfight!! Vanguard anime series such as 2011’s Cardfight!! Vanguard, 2014’s Cardfight!! Vanguard G, and 2018’s Cardfight!! Vanguard Prime. The anime is part of Bushiroad‘s Cardfight!! Vanguard multimedia trading card game franchise, which began in 2011. Crunchyroll has streamed previous entries of the franchise.

Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez is available to stream on the official Cardfight!! Vanguard YouTube channel, which describes the first episode as:
One day, a youth named Akina Myodo from Kanazawa of Kaga obtains a mysterious card after experiencing a vision of planet Cray. That card is proof that he has been chosen as the Fated One of Miracles, and an invitation to the “Fated Clash”, where the last one standing can have their wish granted.
