Shortly after the 11th and final episode of Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again, a special illustration featuring lead characters Shozo Saito and Ine Saito sleeping peacefully under an apple tree. The anime series first premiered in Japan on April 7, 2024 and ended on June 16, 2024.

Masayoshi Nishita (Allison and Lillia, Eyeshield 21) is directing the anime, with Yukie Sugawara (The Unwanted Immortal Adventurer) as series screenwriter, Nagisa Takahashi (TenPuru co-prop designer) as character designer, and Tomoki Hasegawa as music composer. Gekko is handling the animation production for the series.
They join a main voice cast that is headlined by:

- • Shiori Mikami as Mino Saito
- • Nao Toyama as Shiori Saito
- • Junta Terashima as Shota Igarashi

The anime is based on the manga series by Kagiri Araido, which was first posted on Araido’s Twitter and Pixiv accounts on October 26, 2019. It was then serialized on Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Aruna magazine on July 13, 2022 and concluded on June 15, 2024. The series is published under Media Factory’s MFC label and MF Comics imprint. Seven tankobon volumes have been released as of August 2023, with an eighth and final volume set for release on June 21, 2024.

Crunchyroll is streaming Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again worldwide outside of Japan. It describes the series as:
