Avex Pictures has announced that they will host a special panel to celebrate their 10th anniversary at Anime Expo. It will take place on July 5, 2024 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in room 408AB from 7:30 PM PST to 8:50 PM PST.
The panel will include special presentations and features from the anime film Look Back, Naoko Yamada’s Garden of Remembrance, and animation studio Bones.
Look Back director Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Flip Flappers director, Chainsaw Man devil designer) will be in attendance at the panel, where he will provide commentary around the film’s release, ahead of its Anime Expo premiere screening scheduled for July 6, 2024 at 5:15 PM PST. The anime film will premiere in Japan on June 28, 2024.
Along with the Look Back premiere, Avex Pictures will also host screenings for Yamada’s short film Garden of Remembrance, and the world premiere of the romantic comedy anime series The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies from Bones.
Joining Oshiyama on the panel will be director Akiyo Ohashi (Given – on the other hand OAV), Bones producer Naoki Amano, and Avex Pictures producer Tomokazu Iizumi to share the latest on Avex Pictures’ and Bones’ past collaborations such as Noragami.
Earlier last week, Crunchyroll and Kadokawa revealed their own lineup of panels and screenings for Anime Expo 2024.
