Arcane Teases the Return of Jinx & Vi in Latest Promo Visual of 2nd Season featured image

Netflix and Riot Games have released a new promotional visual for the upcoming second season of Arcane, which features Jinx holding Vi in her arms. The second season will premiere on Netflix this coming November 2024. 

The first 9-episode season was released in three parts in 2021 on November 6, November 13, and November 20. The series is part of the expansive League of Legends universe.

The three main voice cast members from the first season will reprise their roles for the second season, which stars Ella Purnell as Jinx, Hailee Steinfeld as Vi, and Katie Leung as Caitlyn Kiramman. 

Fortiche Productions is returning as the animation production company, with Riot Games credited with the creative supervision for the series. The second season was originally scheduled to release in 2023 before being delayed. 

Christian Linke and Alex Yee are credited as the animated series’ creators. Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord served as directors for several episodes of the series. 

Arcane has won several awards and accolades, including Best Adaptation at The Game Awards and Outstanding Animated Program at the Primetime Emmy Awards. It was also awarded with several honors at the Annie Awards.  

Netflix describes the Arcane TV series as:

Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will tear them apart.
