North American Blue Archive fans will get to enjoy the official English-subbed version of its anime adaptation, Blue Archive The Animation, starting on May 24 at 12 AM UTC.
Blue Archive The Animation originally premiered on April 7. Ani-One Asia YouTube channel streams it in various non-western territories with the English subtitle option included.
NEXON Games‘s Blue Archive game, a free-to-play “Youth x Academy x Military RPG,” was released in Japan in February 2021 for iOS and Android. Yostar Inc. handles the Japanese distribution, while NEXON Company is the global publisher. The game has had multiple animated promotional videos.
The anime is set in the academy city Kivotos and focuses on the Countermeasures Committee of Abydos High School, which faces the threat of closure due to desertification.
