The Promise of Wizard anime adaptation has received its first trailer (one that’s more akin to a teaser trailer) and a “super teaser visual” drawn by character designer Nozomi Nagatomo. It was also announced that the show will have its premiere in January 2025.
Promise of Wizard is based on a coly-developed iOS and Android game that was released in Japan in 2019. QooApp describes the source material as a “mobile otome game where players have to train different wizards to defend the world” from chaos caused by the moon.
The game has inspired an Ichijinsha-published manga that began serialization in 2020 and has been collected into two volumes as of November 2021. There are also two Promise of Wizard manga anthologies.
