A new key visual has been revealed for the upcoming My Wife Has No Emotion TV anime series, which will begin airing in Japan on July 2, 2024. The visual showcases the main character Takuma Kosugi hugging his robot wife, as they watch a small robot bird burning a candle.

Two additional characters were also revealed to be joining the anime adaptation, which includes Yoshino Aoyama as Akari Kosugi and Yu Serizawa as Super Mina.
They join the main voice cast that consists of Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Takuma Kosugi and Konomi Inagaki as Mina.
Fumihiro Yoshimura (Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte) is directing the anime, with Mitsutaka Hirota (Sweet Reincarnation) as series screenwriter, and Zenjiro Ukulele (co-chief animation director for The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses Episode 4, Girlfriend, Girlfriend Episode 1, 2, 4 et al.) as character designer. Tezuka Productions is in charge of the animation production for the series.

The original sci-fi romantic comedy manga by Jiro Sugiura began serialization in Kadokawa’s Comic Flapper on August 5, 2019. Seven tankobon volumes have been released as of October 2023. The series originated as a webcomic on Twitter and Pixiv on March 19, 2019.
Seven Seas Entertainment releases the My Wife Has No Emotion manga in English, describing the synopsis as:
Takuma is a single guy who does nothing but go to work and come home. Too tired to do chores, he decides to get a robot to cook and keep house. “Mina-chan” is such a good housekeeper, Takuma jokes that she should become his wife. Mina takes Takuma’s joke seriously, and slowly the two start doing more things together, like having a picnic outside. As time goes by, Takuma starts to fall for Mina, but can a human and a robot ever have an equal, loving relationship?
