The Detective Conan: Hyaku-man Dollar no Michishirube movie once again placed first on the Japan Weekend Box Office ranking, with its performance numbers for the April 26 to 28 weekend standing at 940 thousand attendees and a 1.35 billion yen (~US$8.5 million) gross.

This is the movie’s third first-place weekend ranking in a row. It premiered on April 12.

In total, the 27th Detective Conan movie has made more than 9.291 billion yen, or roughly US$58.85 million. It’s now the 61st highest-grossing film in Japan. To beat 2023’s Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine, the 18th highest-earning film in the country, it’ll have to earn more than 13.88 billion yen (~US$87.9 million).

Other anime movies on the weekend box office ranking were Blue Lock: Episode Nagi at third place, Haikyu!!: The Dumpster Battle at sixth, and Doraemon: Nobita no Chikyuu Symphony at eighth. The Dumpster Battle has made 10 billion yen (~US$ 63.3 billion) in total since its February 16 premiere, making it the 46th most successful movie at the Japanese box office.
