The Oomuro-ke: Dear Friends anime film has received a main trailer. The movie is set to premiere in Japan on June 21.
It was also announced there will be two insert songs: “My Sunny Side” (performed by the voice actors of the Omuro Sisters) and “Patchwork Et Cetera!” (performed by the voice actors of the high school student characters)
The first Oomuro-ke movie, Dear Sisters, premiered on February 2.
The two anime movies are based on the Oomuro-ke manga by Namori, which began serialization in 2013 and has seven tankoubon volumes as of February 2024. The series is a spin-off of Namori’s YuruYuri manga series, which began in 2008 and inspired various anime series and OVAs.
Oomuro-ke follows the Omuro sisters. The second sister, Sakurako, is also a character in YuruYuri. The Ichijinsha-published title is currently serialized on Yurihime@pixiv.
