Master and Apprentice is another look at the 3D fighter’s roster, but framed via the “master-apprentice dynamic.” The trailer features match-ups between Videl and Gohan, Beerus and Whis, Trunks and Gohan, and more.

“With a diverse range of characters, each bringing their own skills and abilities to the table, players can look forward to experiencing the depth and complexity of these dynamic relationships in the upcoming game,” says Bandai Namco.

So far, the game’s roster includes:

• Gohan (Kid)
• Gohan (Adult)
• Gohan (Future)
• Gohan (Future), Super Saiyan
• Trunks (Sword)
• Trunks (Sword), Super Saiyan
• Videl
• Beerus
• Whis
• Master Roshi

The Spike Chunsoft title will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It’s the first Budokai Tenkaichi (Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! in Japan) game since 2007’s Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
