The two-part BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! anime movie has received a key visual for Part 1, Haru no Hidamari, Mayoi Neko. It shows guitarist Rana Kaname standing over a puddle, with her reflection dressed in casual clothing and gripping an umbrella instead of an instrument.
It was also revealed that Haru no Hidamari, Mayoi Neko will premiere in Japan in early fall, while the second part, Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta & FILM LIVE, is planned for a late fall debut.
The BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! movie is a compilation of the 2023 TV series with new cuts included. Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta & FILM LIVE will add fresh “FILM LIVE” material.
The series ran from June 2023 to September 2023 with 13 episodes. Kodai Kakimoto (BanG Dream! 2nd Season and 3rd Season) directed the show with Yuniko Ayana (BanG Dream! series composer) as series composer and scriptwriter and Sanzigen as the animation production company.
MyGO!!!!! is the latest anime in Bushiroad’s BanG Dream! media-mix project, which began in 2015 with a manga series, and has a sequel series tentatively set for a January 2025 premiere.
