The 2.5 Dimensional Seduction anime adaptation has a new character trailer, which gives us our first look at Noa/NONOA and Aria Kisaki, another two members of the main cast.
Sayumi Suzushiro is the voice of Noa, an up-and-coming cosplayer who’s not very sociable, while Sayumi Watabe is playing the more outgoing Aria.
It was also announced that the anime, which begins in July, will run for two consecutive cours.
2.5 Dimensional Seduction is based on the cosplay-themed romantic comedy manga by Yu Hashimoto, which began serialization on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in 2019. The source material has 19 tankoubon volumes as of January 2024.
Seven Seas Entertainment describes the plot as:
“I have no interest in real girls!” So claims Okumura, the president of the school’s manga club. He’s your typical otaku, obsessed with a sexy (fictional) 2D manga character known as Liliel. Then the new school year starts, and a (real!) 3D girl named Lilysa whose passion is cosplay joins the club. Lilysa convinces Okumura to become her photographer–and guess who her favorite manga character is? Not only that, but Lilysa is into modeling the fetishy stuff! The boundaries between 2D and 3D start to blur as this hot-blooded romantic comedy unfolds.
