OSHI NO KO‘s MEMcho has been the anime’s official VTuber since December 2022. After over a year of activity, she has now gotten her first collaboration video, which features Nijisanji VTuber Hoshikawa Sara as her guest.

The OSHI NO KO channel released a 20+ minute video in which MEMcho asks to be Hoshikawa’s pupil, before they proceed to chat about topics like each other and video games, and provide love advice to viewers. MEMcho also brings up Hoshikawa’s cover of “Idol” and the “Sign wa B” cover by Hoshikawa, Hyakumantenbara Salome, and Sasaki Saku.

The collaboration was first teased last week.

In the OSHI NO KO anime, MEMcho is a YouTuber (she also refers to herself as such in the VTuber videos) and later becomes a member of the revived B-Komachi idol group. Rumi Ookubo voices the character.

MEMcho’s first VTuber appearance was an introduction video that also revealed her role as “leader” of the anime’s PR team. Most of MEMcho’s content comes in the form of the MEMcho’s Room Tour series and news videos.

Season 2 of the anime, which is based on the Shueisha-published manga written by Aka Akasaka and drawn by Mengo Yokoyari, will begin airing this July.
