The upcoming StrawPri: Hajimari no Monogatari — Strawberry School Festival!!!! anime movie will debut in Japanese theaters on July 19. A new teaser visual and a teaser trailer have been released in addition to that reveal.

Strawberry Prince is an entertainment/idol unit under STPR that was formed in June 2016. The current members are Rinu, Root, Colon, Satomi, Jel, and Nanamori. Nanamori has a planning producer credit on the film, and is also credited as the original creator under his real name, Masato Kashiwabara.

The group is primarily active on video sites like YouTube, TikTok, and TwitCasting. Aside from music videos, its YouTube channel, which has 2.77 million subscribers at the time of writing, also features video game livestreams and a variety of entertainment videos. They only reveal their faces at live events — otherwise, they are often presented as their avatars (like VTubers), or have their faces covered in post or not captured at all for videos where their real bodies are shown.

Aside from their online activities, Strawberry Prince has also released singles and albums, performed live, and has a mobile game called StrawPri With!! They went on a concert tour in 2022 that took them to five of Japan’s major dome stadiums, and had an arena tour the following year. 2023 also saw them making their first Kouhaku Uta Gassen appearance.
