The currently airing Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy- Season 2 has released a new key visual and PV trailer for its upcoming second cour this spring. The anime’s second season will continue broadcasting for two consecutive cours and first premiered in Japan on January 8, 2024.
Voice actress and singer Kaori Maeda was announced as the new ending theme song artist, performing the single “Joshikihazure Human.”

The trailer also previews the second cour’s new opening theme “Reversal” by Vocaloid producer syudou.
The returning production staff for season two include Shinji Ishikawa as director, Kenta Ihara as series screenwriter, Yukie Suzuki as character designer, and Yasuharu Takanashi music composer.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

- • Ayane Sakura as Tomoe
- • Akari Kito as Mio
- • Kenjiro Tsuda as Shiki
The anime is based on the isekai fantasy light novels, written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki Matsumoto. It was first published by AlphaPolis in May 2013 after starting out as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2012. It was then transferred to the AlphaPolis website in 2016. Nineteen physical volumes have been released as of December 2023. Hanashi Media will release the light novels in English at the end of this month.
A manga adaptation by Kotora Kino was released in 2015, with 13 tankobon volumes released as of December 2023. It is published digitally in English by Alpha Manga.

The first anime season aired in Japan from July 2021 to September 2021.

After Makoto Misumi defeats Mitsurugi and Sofia Bulga, humanity is saved from the attacking demon army—for the time being. The goddess is aware of Makoto’s growing power, and she sees him as less of a nuisance and more of a rival.
