Milan Records has announced that the original anime soundtrack for The Apothecary Diaries is now available on several music streaming platforms. The extensive album features a total of 77 original musical tracks, written and composed by Satoru Kosaki, Kevin Penkin, and Alisa Okehazama.

The Apothecary Diaries anime series ran for two cours from October 22, 2023 to March 24, 2023. Toho Animation Studio and OLM handled the animation production for the series. A second season for the series was recently confirmed for a 2025 release.

It is based on the light novel series written by Natsu Hyuuga and illustrated by Touko Shino, which was first published by Shufunotomo on August 29, 2014. Fourteen volumes have been published in total as of September 2023, with a 15th volume due out on March 29, 2024.
Crunchyroll streamed the anime in select territories as it aired in Japan, describing the series as:
