Netflix has released a teaser trailer the upcoming Beastars Final Season. The streaming platform recently released a teaser visual and revealed that the anime will be released in two parts, with Part 1 to arrive this year.

Beastars is based on the Akita Shoten-published manga series by Paru Itagaki. The first season of Beastars premiered in October 2019 in Japan and had its global release in early 2020. Season 2 arrived in 2022, first airing in Japan from January to March 2022 before being streamed globally by Netflix in July of the same year. Final Season was announced in September 2022.

Netflix describes the Orange-produced anime as:

In a world where beasts of all kinds coexist, a gentle wolf awakens to his own predatory urges as his school deals with a murder within its midst.

The previous Beastars seasons were directed by Shinichi Matsumi with Nanami Higuchi as scriptwriter, Nao Ootsu as character designer, Eiji Inomoto as chief CG director, Minami Kasuga as art director, Satoshi Hashimoto as color designer, and Satoru Kousaki as music composer. Shiori Furusho and Chae Baek Ryun served as compositing directors on Season 1, while Season 2 only had Chae in the role.
