An anime adaptation of the I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic (Botsuraku Yotei no Kizoku Dakedo, Himadatta kara Mahou wo Kiwamete Mita) light novels has been announced with a teaser visual.
The director is Kenichi Ishikura (Sakura Trick, Ongaku Shoujo), and the animation production studios are Studio Deen and Marvy Jack. Other revealed staff include Tatsuya Takahashi (The Faraway Paladin: The Lord of Rust Mountains) as series composer, Midori Ootsuka (Kamen no Maid Guy design works co-staff) as character designer, and Alisa Okehazama (The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World) as music composer.
The I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic light novels are written by Nazuna Miki and Illustrated by Kabotya. The first volume was released in 2020, and the eighth on March 15, 2024. The story started as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel in September 2019. There is a manga adaptation by Rio Akisaki.
