The Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo: Akuyaku Reijou ni Naru hodo Ouji no Dekiai wa Kasoku suru you desu!  anime adaptation has received its first trailer and key visual, plus an October premiere window and staff and cast details.

Yuuji Yanase (My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1) is directing the series at MAHO FILM with Sawako Hirabayashi (Delicious Party Precure) as series composer, Yuuko Watanabe (Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp character designer) and Eri Kojima (My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 co-main character designer) as main character designers, and Moe Hyuuga (The Angel Next Door) as music composer.

The main cast members are Kanna Nakamura as Alicia Williams and Kaito Ishikawa as Duke Seeker.

The Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo anime was announced in August and is based on the KADOKAWA-published light novel series written by Izumi Ookido and  illustrated by Jyun Hayase. The story follows Alicia, a girl who dislikes being a typical heroine, and her reincarnation as a villainous noble. As Alicia trains her physical and magical capabilities, she finds that her efforts to become a villainess incite favourable responses from those around her.

The light novel series, published under Heroes Bunko label, began in 2019 and will release its sixth volume on March 15, 2024. It has inspired a manga adaptation by Akira Hoshi. Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo was originally a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel that debuted in 2018.
