The Viral Hit anime has gotten a main trailer, new visual, and theme song artist details as part of Fuji TV’s 2024 anime lineup announcement. It was also announced that the show will premiere on April 10 (effectively April 11 at 12:55 AM JST).

The song artists are MASSIVE THE RAMPAGE for the opening theme and Crab Kani Club for the ending.

Viral Hit (titled Kenka Dokugaku in Japanese) is based on the webtoon written by Lookism creator Taejun Pak and drawn by Kim Junghyun, started in 2019. Webtoon publishes its episodes (chapters) in English and describes it as:

Scrawny high school student Hobin Yu is probably the last guy you’d expect to star in a NewTube channel that revolves around fighting. But after following some advice from a mysterious NewTube channel, Hobin is soon knocking out guys stronger than him and raking in more money than he could have ever dreamed of. Can Hobin keep this up, or will he eventually meet his match?

Crunchyroll will stream the anime during the Spring 2024 season in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
