The winners of the 18th Seiyuu Awards have been revealed.

The award takes into account works that were released between October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023.

Yuuichi Nakamura (Intention), currently best known as the voice of Gojo Satoru in Jujutsu Kaisen, was given the Most Valuable Seiyuu Award. The Main Cast Award went to Kana Ichinose (Sigma Seven) and Kazuki Ura (VIMS). Ichinose’s major roles from the award consideration period include Suletta Mercury from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury, Suzu Kanade from Ayakashi Triangle and Seren Bordeaux from My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer. This anime season, she can be heard as the mage Fern from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, which began last October and is currently in its second cour.

Meanwhile, Ura’s main roles in 2023 include Cobalt in Technoroid Overmind and Goro Ono from KamiErabi GOD.app.
