The free-to-play battle royale PUBG Mobile has announced an upcoming collaboration with Spy x Family. Exact details about the collaboration are currently unknown.

PUBG Mobile, the 2018 mobile sibling of 2017’s PUBG: Battlegrounds, has previously featured crossover events with anime like Dragon Ball Super, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Jujutsu Kaisen, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Higurashi: When They Cry. Last year’s Dragon Ball Super collaboration included two special modes, one of which allowed players to control characters like Goku and Vegeta, and themed cosmetics.

Spy x Family isn’t completely new to the video game x anime collaborations either. A January 2024 collaboration with Street Fighter 6 saw Yor and Loid Forger Avatar costumes appearing in the fighting game. The promotional material for that collab included a visual and a short animation of Yor fighting the iconic Chun Li.
