The Shinkalion: Change The World anime will begin airing in Japan this April. Also revealed: the staff, cast, main trailer, main visual, and a Shinkalion intro trailer.

Kenichirou Komaya (Kizuna no Allele) is directing Shinkalion: Change The World with series composition from Eiji Umehara (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song- co-series composer). Also part of the staff list are Daisuke Ishibashi (Tousouchuu: Great Mission series composition cooperation) as assistant series composer, Shiori Asaka (Kizuna no Allele) and Niina Morita (Kizuna no Allele) as character designers, Akira Kirishiki (Bakugan: Geogan Rising CG director) as mechanical designer, and Yuugo Kanno (Pluto) as music composer.

Meanwhile, the cast includes:

Shinkalion: Change The World is the latest anime in the franchise, after 2018’s Shinkalion the Animation, 2019’s Shinkansen the Movie (Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion: Mirai kara Kita Shinsoku no ALFA-X), and 2021’s Shinkalion ZOLM produced the first series and the movie, while OLM Team Abe produced Shinkalion Z.

The Shinkalion (Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion) project, which features transforming bullet trains, was created by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East), Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions (ShoPro), and toy maker Takara Tomy. Its announcement in 2015 was preceded by the display of a concept model of an E5 train mecha at Tokyo Toy Show 2014 by JR East. The Shinkalion toys are part of Takara Tomy’s Pla Rail series.
