Anime studio Science SARU has announced the airing of four new anime shorts on MBS/TBS networks across Japan. These Daisakusen! shorts, which are 90 seconds each, will begin airing on March 1.
The directors for the MBS collaboration project shorts are Akitoshi Yokoyama; Eri Kinoshita; co-founder, producer, and CEO Eunyoung Choi; and Asami Murakoshi. Their past credits include:
• Yokoyama (Cutie Honey Universe and Irina the Vampire Cosmonaut director, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off Episode 4 storyboard artist and director)
• Kinoshita (Inu-Oh co-assistant unit director, Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! opening co-animator)
• Choi (Ping-Pong The Animation co-director, Space Dandy Episode 9 storyboard artist and director et al.)
• Murakoshi (Yurei Deco Episode 4 and 6 co-animation director, Japan Sinks 2020 opening co-animator)
