The upcoming Detective Conan: Hyaku-man Dollar no Michishirube anime movie, which sees the return of Kaito Kid/Kid the Phantom Thief, has received a main visual. The film is set to premiere in Japan on April 12.

Aside from Kaito Kid, Detective Conan: Hyaku-man Dollar no Michishirube‘s plot will also involve Heiji Hattori, a katana concealing a “‘truth,’” and a “decisive” scramble for a treasure. The movie is the 27th in the Detective Conan franchise.

The Detective Conan manga by Goushou Aoyama, titled Case Closed by Viz Media, started serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1994 and has 104 tankoubon volumes as of October 2023. The TV anime adaptation started airing in 1996, with the first anime film arriving in 1997.
