KADOKAWA has revealed a new original anime, Mayonaka Punch, that begins airing this July. There’s a teaser video and a visual for the show.
The P.A.Works production is a “girls comedy” about “NewTubers,” people who post videos on the “NewTube” site. Osamu Honma (Ya Boy Kongming!) is directing with series composition by Shirasaka Hideaki (Ya Boy Kongming! co-scriptwriter) of the Harapeko Penguin Troupe and character designs by Ryouta Arima (Hell’s Paradise co-chief animation director), with the latter based on drafts by Tsukasa Kotobuki (NG Kishi Ramune & 40 DX: Wakuwaku Jikuu – Honoo no Daisousasen character designer, Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island co-character designer).
