The next Code Geass anime is set to hit Japanese theaters starting May 2024 with the title of Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture. The show will have four parts.
Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture, originally announced as Code Geass: Z of the Recapture in 2020, will follow the brothers Roze (Kouhei Amasaki) and Ash (Makoto Furukawa). Back then, it was announced that the staff will include Yoshimitsu Oohashi (Kokkoku, Witchblade) as director, Noboru Kimura (Persona5 the Animation, Kokkoku) as scriptwriter (now credited as series composer), manga group CLAMP (Code Geass) as original character designer, and the late Takahiro Kimura (Code Geass: Akito the Exiled, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion compilation movie trilogy) as character designer.
Additional staff credits have now been revealed with a trailer for the anime. They include:

The opening song will be “Running In My Head” by MIYAVI.
Comic Natalie reported that the title change stems from worries about using the “Z” symbol in light of world affairs (the “Z” symbol was used by Russia during the still-ongoing invasion of Ukraine).
The original Code Geass anime series, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, had its first run from 2006 to 2007, while the second season Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 begin airing in 2008. The franchise also includes OVAs, a film series, the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled spin-off series, and various light novels, manga, and video games.
