Aniplex has released a new trailer for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict, the upcoming third cour of the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime adaptation.

Featuring a baleful, brass-heavy score, the trailer teases a rematch between Ichigo and Yhwach, as well as familiar sights like Nel’s grown-up form, the Fullbringers Riruka Dokugamine and Yukio Hans Vorarlberna, and Grimmjow’s grin.

Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War is the first Bleach anime since the 2004 to 2012 Bleach TV series adaptation. The second cour, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Separation, began airing in Japan on July 8 and is streamed overseas by platforms like Hulu, Bilibili, iQIYI, and Prime Video. The first cour ran from October to December 2022.

The anime is based on the final arc of the Shueisha-published Bleach manga by Tite Kubo, which sees Soul Society facing an existential threat in the form of the Quincy king Yhwach and his Wandenreich army.

The manga ran from 2001 to 2016 in Weekly Shonen Jump and was collected into 74 tankoubon volumes. A special one-shot was released in 2021.
