Some new cast announcements were made too. They include Sayaka Kikuchi as Sora Akino, Kiyono Yasuno as Ryoko Ninomiya, Anna Suzuki as Carol S. Lane, Shouhei Komatsu as Haruto Otori, and Shougo Sakata as Suguru Yazaki.
My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me! is based on the Earth Star Novel light novels written by Tsuyoshi Fujitaka and illustrated by Chisato Naruse, which began in October 2016 and ended with 14 volumes in March 2023. The light novels have inspired a manga adaptation by Hanamaru Nanto that began in 2018. The story was originally a web novel that begin publication on Shousetsuka ni Narou in February 2016.
