A second trailer has been released for the devil x angel romantic comedy The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil, which begins January 8 (effectively January 9 at 1:30 AM JST) in Japan. The trailer includes a snippet of the ending song “Gift” by Kaori Ishihara.
The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil is based on Sawayoshi Azuma‘s KADOKAWA-published Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru/Stupid Angel Dances with the Devil manga, which began serialization in Dengeki Maou in 2016 and has 16 tankoubon volumes as of October 2023. The premise of the “wicked romantic comedy” involves the demon Masatora Akutsu coming to Earth in search of a human who can be an idol and source of motivation for the demons. However, the girl who catches his eye, Lily Amane, turns out to be a literal angel who captures Masatora and forcefully compels him to aid her on her mission.
