Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy- Season 2 is set to begin airing in Japan on January 8. There’s also a new trailer — with new footage and an excerpt of the Keina Suda opening “Utopia” — and more cast announcements for the anime sequel.
The newly announced cast members are Yukiyo Fujii and Taiten Kusunoki as the demons Rona and Io, respectively.
Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy- is based on the AlphaPolis-published light novels written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki Matsumoto. The anime’s first season, which was produced by C2C instead of the new season’s J.C.Staff, aired in 2021 with 12 episodes. Crunchyroll describes it as:
The light novels started in 2013, the year after the story’s web novel debut on Shousetsuka ni Narou, and have 19 volumes (including a side story volume) as of August 2022. The series has inspired a manga by Kotora Kino.
