Bandai Namco Filmworks revealed a second new teaser trailer for the Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance original animated series. The project will consist of six 30-minute episodes that will exclusively stream on Netflix worldwide.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance is produced with Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5 system. Erasmus Brosdau (Origin Zero, Warhammer 40.000 “The Lord Inquisitor: Seed of Ambition”) is directing the series, with Gavin Hignight (Tekken: Bloodline, Transformers: Cyberverse) as scriptwriter, Manuel Augusto Dischinger Moura as main character designer, Kimitoshi Yamane (Mobile Suit Gundam: Reconguista in G and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin co-mechanical designer) as mechanical design supervisor, and Wilbert Roget II (Mortal Kombat 11, Call of Duty: WWII) as music composer.
Naohiro Ogata (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury) and Hignight are credited as executive producers, with Hiroaki Yura as producer. Sunrise and SAFEHOUSE are handling the animation production.
Australian actress Celia Massingham is voicing the lead character and performing the motion-capture for animation.
The series focuses on the European Front during the One Year War in the classic Universal Century timeline. The story will be told from the Principality of Zeon’s perspective and focus on the character Iria Sorari with the Zeon mobile suit Zaku II mecha and the Federation mobile suit Gundam.
