During the CCXP convention in Brazil, Crunchyroll announced that an original TV anime series titled Astro Note will premiere in April 2024.
A 57-second trailer and teaser visual for the sci-fi romantic comedy series were also released, with Souma Saitou and Maaya Uchida voicing the lead characters Takumi Miyasaka and Mira Gotokuji, respectively.
The production staff includes Shinji Takamatsu (Teppen!!! chief director, Helck sound director) as chief director, Haruki Kasugamori (Dragon Goes House Hunting director) as series director, Kimiko Ueno (Delicious in Dungeon) as series screenwriter, Eisaku Kubonouchi (Bullbuster, Carole & Tuesday) as original character designer, Maho Aoki (Aguu: Tensai Ningyo prop design) as character designer and chief animation director, Reiko Kasuga (Love Live! Superstar!!) as art director, and Kouhei Munemoto (I’m Quitting Heroing) as music composer. Telecom Animation Film is in charge of the animation production for the series.
Crunchyroll will stream the anime series in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Crunchyroll describes the synopsis of Astro Note as:
Takumi, a gifted chef, was just let go from his job. He lands a gig at an old boarding house called Astro-sou, but hesitates to accept after learning he must also live there full-time. That is until he meets the beautiful and charming caretaker, Mira, and he’s sold. The two begin to work together and their connection deepens. But Mira has a secret: she isn’t from this world!
