The upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom anime sequel movie has received a new visual — its main one — that has Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne occupying the center space while Athrun Zala and Shin Asuka stand/sit in a corner.
Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom will premiere in Japan on January 26, 2024. The movie is set in the 75th year of Mobile Suit Gundam Seed‘s Cosmic Era timeline, shortly after the end of the Second Alliance-PLANT War in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny.
Seed and its series sequel, Seed Destiny, premiered in 2002 and 2004, respectively. Plans for a sequel movie were first announced in 2006, and in 2021 it was announced that production was ongoing.
