A January 6 Japanese premiere date has been revealed for next year’s Tales of Wedding Rings anime adaptation. There’s also a main trailer and visual, with the former including a preview of the newly announced Sizuk opening song “Lover’s Eye,” and extra cast info.
The new cast announcements include Shougo Sakata as Mars and Shigeru Chiba as Alabaster.
Tales of Wedding Rings is based on the Square Enix-published fantasy rom-com manga series by Maybe, which began serialization in Monthly Big Gangan in 2014 and has 13 tankoubon volumes as of January 2023. Crunchyroll describes the manga as:
A high school girl becomes a newly-wed in another world. When Sato’s childhood friend Hime suddenly said good-bye, he chased after her and found himself in a fantasy world!! There Sato married Hime and became the legendary hero, the Ring King!! Dusk Maiden of Amnesia’s Maybe brings you an Out-of-this-world newly-wed romantic comedy!!
