A 2024 premiere date has been announced for the Senpai is an Otokonoko TV anime adaptation. A new teaser trailer and visual, both featuring the character Saki Aoi, were released as well.
Crunchyroll recently announced at Anime NYC 2023 that it was licensing the series. The new visual was first revealed with the streaming service’s announcement.
The LINE Digital Frontier-published Senpai is an Otokonoko manga began serialization on Line Manga in 2019 and has six Ichijinsha-published tankoubon volumes as of July 2023. It is the winner of the 5th Manga We Want to See Animated Ranking and the 2nd runner-up in the web category of Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishou 2021. Webtoons describes the plot as:
