A new character PV trailer has been revealed for the upcoming Doctor Elise TV anime series, featuring the titular heroine Elise. The anime is scheduled to premiere sometime in January 2024.
The opening theme for Doctor Elise is “believer,” performed by Yui Ishikawa as her character Elise. The ending theme is “Listen” by ex-Little Glee Monster vocalist Maju Arai.
Kumiko Habara (I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss) is directing the anime series, with Deko Akao (My Stepmom`s Daughter Is My Ex) as series screenwriter, and Yuuko Watanabe (A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’s VRMMO Life co-designer) as character designer. MAHO FILM is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes Yui Ishikawa as Elise de Clarence, Youhei Azakami as Linden de Romanoff, and Yoshimasa Hosoya as Graham de Fallon.
The anime is based on the South Korean web novel series, written by yuin that was serialized on Kakaopage from December 30, 2015 to April 27, 2016. A manhwa webtoon adaptation by mini was serialized on the same site from September 18, 2017 to February 16, 2021. Ten volumes were released in total by publisher Pinetoon.
In Japan, the webtoon is serialized on Piccoma and published physically under Kadokawa Shoten’s Flos Comic label. It was formally released by Tappytoon.
Lezhin Comics currently publishes the webtoon in English digitally, describing the series as:
