The upcoming Doga Kobo original TV anime Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night has received a fourth teaser visual, which features the previously previewed characters as well as a fourth girl with a bob haircut.
There’s also a new teaser trailer that is once again filled with live-action footage.
Much is still unknown about the show, which is set to premiere sometime in 2024, but the newly announced trailer that will be released on November 1 at 7 PM JST should fill in some of the blanks.

What we do know at the moment is that Eromanga Sensei’s Ryouhei Takeshita (also director and storyboard artist for The Heike Story Episode 9, A Couple of Cuckoos‘ OP and ED et al.) is directing Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night with Bottom-Tier Tomozaki author Yuuki Yaku as series composer and scriptwriter. The cute character designs come from Junichirou Taniguchi (Sing Yesterday for Me) and are based on original character designs by illustrator popman3580.
The anime will follow a girl who initially spends her nights wandering Shibuya, a place “overflowing with identity.” Unable to become anyone, the girl’s life begins to change following a special encounter. The synopsis also reveals that the story will see the main characters getting involved in creative activities.
