Square Enix Manga & Books announced that it will publish The Apothecary Diaries light novel series in English language print editions for the first time in May 2024. The first volume will be released on May 14, 2024, as part of the company’s Square Enix Books imprint and pre-orders for it are now open.
Volume one will feature full-color art inserts and black-and-white illustrations throughout its chapters. They will be released as trade paperback editions with English translations produced in collaboration with J-Novel Club.

The light novel series, written by Natsu Hyuuga and illustrated by Touko Shino, has sold more than 21 million print and digital copies worldwide. It was first published by Shufunotomo on August 29, 2014 and has released 14 volumes as of September 2023.
Volumes one through nine of The Apothecary Diaries manga adaptation are also currently available in English from the Square Enix Manga imprint in both print and digital editions.
A TV anime series adapting the light novels began airing on October 22, 2023 and will stream on Crunchyroll.
