Sunsunsun, the author of the Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian light novels, and the upcoming anime adaptation’s lead voice actress Sumire Uesaka will be part of this year’s Anime Festival Asia Singapore. The two are hosting an Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings panel on November 25 GMT+8, the second day of the three-day event.
The anime was announced in March, with the main staff and studio being revealed in September.
Sunsunsun and Uesaka are just some of the notable guests that will be featured at AFA 2023. A Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation panel with Ai Kayano (Fitz) and Yumi Uchiyama (Rudeus Greyrat) will also be held on November 25th, while November 26th will feature a MAPPA panel with CEO Manabu Otsuka, Attack on Titan Final Season director Yuichiro Hayashi, and Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou director/writer Mari Okada. The popular illustrator and VTuber Shigure Ui will host a live drawing session on November 24.
The popular Southeast Asian ACG event, which will be held at Suntec Convention & Exhibition, will also deliver appearances from names like Liyuu, May’n, Survive Said the Prophet, FLOW, Sakura Miko, Hoshimachi Suisei, Mori Calliope, IRyS, and more.
