A 2024 premiere date has been revealed for the Demon Lord 2099 anime adaptation.
The anime, an adaptation of the Fantasia Bunko light novel series written by Daigo Murasaki and illustrated by Kureta, was announced in March. In September, it was revealed that J.C.STAFF was producing the show and that Satoshi Hino and Miku Itou were voicing lead characters Veltol and Machina, respectively.
Yen Press describes the plot as:
The Demon Lord 2099 light novel series, which began publication in 2021 and has three volumes as of June 2023, was the winner of the 33rd Fantasia Award’s Alternate Dimension category. It initially inspired a now-discontinued manga adaptation by Kiiro Akashiro. A new adaptation by Kan Sakurai started serialization on Shonen Ace Plus in March of this year.
